Training Confidential Contact Person (this is the first part of the training- online)
The training Confidential Contact Person (in Dutch: vertrouwenscontactpersoon) is a 1-day course in which you can learn how to take up the role of confidential contact person in a voluntary capacity.
You will learn about the role, your tasks and most importantly: the boundaries of the role.
In addition, you can practice with conversation and learn how to introduce yourself in this role.
The confidential contact person (VCP) offers members, volunteers and others the opportunity to talk in confidence about transgressive behavior such as bullying, discrimination or sexual harassment.
In the text below we will use the abbreviation VCP to indicate this role. The VCP engages with the victim or accused and explores where the person can go for help and what possible steps can be taken.
In addition, the VCP helps the board to prevent transgressive behavior within the organization based on the code of conduct.
The following components are covered:
- prevention of transgressive behavior within the organization
-tasks of the VCP
-dealing with reports
-practicing interview techniques
-visibility of the VCP within the organization
Part two of the training is on location in Utrecht and is always in-person.
One cannot attend part two without having attended part one.
You will get the zoom link after signing up.
